Terms of service

These terms cover your use of this website and any enquiry you make through it. They do not replace the written terms that come with a quotation for actual work; where the two differ, the quotation wins.

The information here is provided in good faith and kept as accurate as we can. Prices for heating work depend entirely on the property, so nothing on this site is a quotation or an offer to contract.

Do not use the forms on this site to send anything unlawful, abusive, or anyone else's personal information without their permission.

Requesting a quote or a survey does not commit you to anything. Nothing is booked until we have spoken and you have agreed a written quotation.

A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. It is based on what could be seen at the survey. If something is found once work starts that could not reasonably have been seen, you will be told before any additional cost is incurred, and you decide whether to proceed.

Where we price against a quotation you already hold, we price the scope in that document. We cannot be responsible for the accuracy or completeness of a document prepared by someone else.

Gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and notified where notification is required.

Manufacturer warranties on equipment are provided by the manufacturer on their own terms, and most require an annual service to remain valid. Workmanship cover is stated on your quotation.

Public liability cover of 5 million pounds is in place.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights. Where work is agreed away from our premises, you have a 14 day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask us in writing to start within that period and we do, you may be liable for the value of work already carried out.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
